We’re excited to help more people in the community get the COVID-19 vaccine. As of February 20, Coastal Care Partners has donated manpower and other resources to vaccinate 5,600 people in Chatham County who meet the Georgia Department of Public Health’s (DPH) 1A+ criteria.
During the week of February 22, we’re scheduling an additional 800 people and still have openings available Thursday, February 25 through Friday, February 26. If you meet the DPH 1A+ criteria, you can schedule your COVID-19 vaccination appointment by going to https://healthyskidaway.com/alert-message/.
In January, Coastal Care Partners first partnered with Dr. Jason Conley of Lo-Cost Pharmacy and Skidaway Village Pharmacy to operate the Skidaway Vaccine Clinic. We continue to voluntarily schedule and administer the vaccine at the Skidaway Clinic and through community outreach efforts such as those at area public and private schools. Our efforts to help vaccinate more people in the area takes some pressure off of the Chatham County Health Department.
We welcome qualified volunteers to assist us in administering the vaccine. If you are a licensed, clinical professional interested in the Coastal Care Partners cause, please contact us at [email protected].
